Autumn twines, and tides
will come in months to
wash away the
heat
and the shit
out of our minds

leaves will fall every afternoon
(planned, we're certain)
like glass from the broken heaven
that rains
as an old man sits crying
like a wounded thermometer
soft enough so only the stop lights
hear it
and a young man in nurse scrubs
crosses the street carrying
a small box filled to the brim
with bleeding hearts

summer dies in the bottom of a wine glass
just wrote this one in my head on the drive back from work.
depressing yes. but i like it okay. and i think the preview picture is neat

I like it (and the preview picture) too. I wonder if the poems on dA would be received differently if we could actually hear the author read them. I guess there are pros and cons to that... sometimes it's good to hear the message that's intended, but we probably get something different from it if we read them ourselves. Nice work anyway.
